PURPOSE:To improve the input/editing efficiency of documents by designating a copy sender and a copy receiver of the line qualifying information so that the line qualifying information stored in a line qualifying area is copied easily and quickly at an optional row position. CONSTITUTION:A document area including the line qualifying information is supplied to a certain row and this row qualifying information is copied to another row. In this case, a cursor is shifted to the row position where the copy of the row qualification of a display document is desired from a keyboard 5. Then a prescribed key is operated for instruction of the copy of the row qualification. Thus a CPU 1 proceeds to a program for copy of the line qualification and a guidance message is displayed on a CRT 7. As a result, the cursor is shifted to the line position of a copy receiver and an execution key is pushed. Thus the line qualifying information is copied to a line qualifying area corresponding to a document area of the relevant line of an internal memory MMU 2. Thus it is possible to perform quickly the line qualifying copy mutually between optional rows with a simple operation.
