发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase printing speed and to obtain a clear print, by providing a chlorinated polyolefin film onto the back face of a base film, thereby preventing fusion of the base film even upon increase of the amount of heat on a thermal head and preventing adhesion of foreign matter to the thermal head even after long period of recording. CONSTITUTION:Chlorinated polyorefin resin is applied through well known method onto the back face of base film in thermal transfer material, then it is dried by hot air to form a film. Chlorinated polyorefin resin is a copolymer of chlorinated polyethylene, chlorinated polypropylene, chlorinated polyisobuthylener, chlorinated ethylene vinyl acetate or a copolymer of these chlorinated polyorefin and other acryl or stylene-type polymerisable monomer. Polyester film is most preferable as supporting material because of its excellent heat-resistance, mechanical strength, tensile strength, tensile stability, etc., and the thickness in the range of 3mu-5mu is employed most preferably in view point of strength or easy coating of ink layer, although thermal conductivity increases as the thickness decreases.
