METHOD FOR RECORDING AND READING X-RAY IMAGE

PURPOSE:To permit observation of a fine X-ray image, etc., in real time by recording the X-ray image on a substrate on which a specific composite film is formed and reading this image by projection of visible light or IR light. CONSTITUTION:X-rays from an X-ray source 14 is projected through a sample provided with an absorption film 13, etc., to form an X-ray mask to an X-ray dry plate 10 formed with the composite film composed of an amorphous chalcogenide film essentially consisting of Se and Ge and Ag-Se compd. on a glass substrate to record the X-ray image on the composite film. The composite film is irradiated by the IR light from a laser 16 for reading out through an objective lens 19 including a half mirror and the fine X-ray image recorded by an image pickup device 18 is read out in the real time by receiving the reflected light. The similar result is also obtd. even if reading is carried out by using the visible light without using the IR light or by reading with the diffracted light or transmitted light.
