PURPOSE:To improve the releasability of a gasket and consequently prolong its service life by a method wherein a mold release layer is formed on the surface of a gasket surrounding a molding cavity, which is produced between the top surface of a bottom force and the underside of a top force. CONSTITUTION:For forming a mold release layer in a gasket 4, a polytetrafluorothylene tape, on the rear surface of which an adhesive is applied, is closely wound on the outer periphery of the gasket 4. The mold release layer is formed on the surface of ethylene propylent rubber (EPDM) gasket 4, which is annularly mounted along the periphery of a bottom force 1. The bottom force 1 is set onto air bags 6 filled with air. After that, a top force 2 is lowered onto the bottom force so as form a cavity, which is surrounded by the underside of the top force 2, the top surface of the bottom force 1 and the gasket 4. When the acrylic resin which is poured in the cavity 3 shrinks due to polymerization, the bottom force 1 is pushed up by the pressure of the air bags 6, resulting in preventing gap from developing in the cavity 3. |
