PURPOSE:To obtain sharp print quality by providing a lens which controls an optical axis between a SELFOC lens array and a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:Light from the light emission surface of an LED array passes through the SELFOC lens array 2 and is focused on the photosensitive body 4 through the optical axis control lens 3. The optical axis control lens 3 is held by a fitting plate 5 which has a focusing mechanism. In this constitution, the optical axis is controlled by the lens 3 to focus the light on the photosensitive body surface even if there is an error in the fitting of the SELFOC lens array 2 and an error in distance between the light emission surface of the LED array and photosensitive body 4.
