PURPOSE:To obtain a differentiation inducer consisting of a high polymer fraction obtained by concentrating an extract product of chlorella by hot water under reduced pressure, adding a solvent to the concentrate and fractionating the resultant solution with a semipermeable membrane and used in decanceration by differentiation of a cancer cell. CONSTITUTION:A extract product of chlorella by hot water is concentrated e.g. at 50 deg.C under reduced pressure and distilled water is added to the concentrate and the solution is passed through a semipermeable membrane and fractionated to a high polymer fraction not capable of passing through the semipermeable membrane and low molecular weight fraction passing through the membrane. The resultant high polymer fraction is used as a differentiation inducer. The inducer has no carcinogenesis as well as toxicity in spite of having high differentiation-inducing action and can be used also in a reagent and clinical use. The extract product of chlorella by hot water is obtained by dispersing algae cell of the chlorella in water, heating the dispersion at 90-100 deg.C for 20-30min and treating the dispersion with a centrifugal separator. The solvent used in extraction includes diluted acid, diluted alkali and water containing diluted alkali in addition to hot water. |
