PURPOSE:To prevent formation of a forged card even if only the magnetic information is transferred thereto from an unused recording card by forming a magnetic recording medium and optical recording medium so as to be superposed on each other via a card substrate held therebetween. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic recording medium 3 which permits magnetic reading out of at least the information to indicate the frequencies of use is formed on one face of the card substrate 2 and the optical recording medium 4 recorded with the optically readable information is so formed as to be superposed on the opposite face of the medium 3 with the substrate 3 held therebetween. Furthermore, a recording medium 5 for position detection consisting of regularly arranged optically readable patterns is formed on either face of the substrate 2 along the conveying direction of the card. This recording card is, therefore, conveyed and controlled in accordance with the signal detected from the regularly arranged patterns of the medium 5. A dishonest act such as falsification of the recording card is thereby prevented. |
