发明名称 AUTOMATIC INDEXING DEVICE FOR DRILL
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the indexing cycle time by constructing an automatic indexing device such that a central value in an angular section where the rotary angle of a drill and the output information from an optical sensor are first output signals is calculated as an indexing angle, and the drill is positioned with that indexing angle. CONSTITUTION:A drill 16 is mounted on a spindle 11 then a servo motor 13 is driven to bring the drill 16 into constant speed driving condition, then an optical sensor 17 is functioned. Light is projected from a light emitting section at the tip section 18 of the optical sensor 17, and receiving quantity of light is measured at a light receiving section. On the other hand, output from a rotary encoder 14 fixed to the servo motor 13 is inputted to a controller 19 and stored in a memory. Then the controller 19 calculates the central value in an angular section where first output signal is provided when the quantity of light being received by the optical sensor 17 is small as an indexing angle, then controls the servo motor 13 and positions the servo motor 13 with that indexing angle. Consequently, operation can be made easily in short time when compared with an image processor.
