PURPOSE:To carry out an excellent combustion and to obtain supply hot water of an appropri ate temperature at a small supply quantity of a fuel when the fuel supply quantity is lowered, by providing a partition plate and an inner cylinder within a vaporizing cylinder, and provid ing an air passage and an air distributor which blast air individually in proper quantities to the upper part and lower part of the vaporizing cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate for partitioning the inside of a vaporizing cylinder 5 is provided at the intermediate of the inside of the vaporizing cylinder 5, and an air distributor 8 is provided at the other end of an air passage 7. In coincidence with the reduction in the fuel supply quantity by means of a fuel supply pump 18, turning air for combustion from an air hole 5a of the vaporizing cylinder 5. However, a suitable quantity of air required for combustion is mainly supplied through the air hole 5a on the side surface of the side passage of a lower air passage 5d, and at the same time, surplus air is caused to flow into a combustion chamber 4 through the air hole 5a on the side surface of an upper air passage 5c. Since air in a quantity required for combustion is supplied from the side of the lower air passage 5d, it is possible to suppress the lowering of the flow speed of the turning air flow within an auxiliary combustion cylinder 12 by the reduction in the number of the air hole 5a, and thus it is possible to promote the mixing of fuel vapor and air and make uniform the same.
