PURPOSE:To reduce the load on communication lines and a line management computer in automatic machining by incorporating in a pallet, readable/writable storage units such as semiconductor RAM, non-volatile semiconductor RAM or magnetic valve memory backed up through cells. CONSTITUTION:A circuit substrate 2 is secured in a dirt sweeping space 4 on the back face of a pallet 1, and a storage unit 5 is mounted on the circuit substrate 2 a spatial gas toward the rear face of the pallet 1. Readable/writable devices communicate data with the pallet through connecting sections 3 of the circuit substrate. Consequently, data concerning to a workpiece necessary for respective machines in an automatic machining or assembling line or machining, and inspection data outputted from respective machines are arranged to correspond completely with the workpiece and can be handled in pair. As a result, load on communication lines and a line management computer can be reduced considerably. |
