PURPOSE:To enable kind consideration for an inputting mistake by preventing a magnetic medium from being made invalid, when a personal identification number, read from the magnetic medium, and the personal identification number, a user inputted, do not coincide with each other, and the discordance is due to the inexperience of the user. CONSTITUTION:A central device 1 and an automatic cash dealing device 2 are connected by a communication channel. In the automated teller machine 2, the personal identification number, read from the magnetic medium, and the personal identification number, inputted by the user, are compared with each other, and in the case of the discordance, the numerals of the same figures of both the personal identification numbers are compared with each other. When the number of the coincident figures after this comparison is more than a prescribed number, the magnetic medium is prevented from being made inva lid, because the user is regarded as a person himself. |
