PURPOSE:To facilitate repeat reproduction, fast forward reproduction, and allow reproduction of music information in an arbitrary section, by providing additionally an address rearranging device, a changeover switch, a third and fourth registers, a second comparator, and a repeat switch, on a memory device having a main memory and an auxiliary memory. CONSTITUTION:On a memory device for reproducing the music information, an address rearranging device 10, a changeover switch 11, the third register 12, the fourth register 13, the second comparator 14, and a repeat switch 15 are provided by adding them newly. In such a way, an address signal outputted from the second address generator 7 is rearranged through the switch 11 by the address rearranging device 10, and by executing a shift, etc., the music information is brought to fast forward reproduction without varying a clock frequency. By the third and the fourth registers 12, 13, addresses of the start and the end of repeat reproduction are held, respectively, and by the second comparator 14, the repeat reproduction is executed through the switch 15. That is, by adding a simple device, special reproduction is facilitated.
