Container with an easy-opening leak-proof closure formed by a body 1 surmounted by a lid 2, - the said body 1 being provided, at the level of its opening rim, over at least part of its periphery, with a collar 3 having a substantially U-shaped cross-section, - the said lid 2 having a peripheral channel 10 intended to house, in the closed position of the container, the radially inside edge 6 of the said U-shaped collar in a leak-proof manner, characterised in that the said lid 2 is provided with a peripheral bead 12 bearing on the external face of the inside edge 6 of the said collar 3 thus forming a means of guidance of the lid 2 on the collar 3 and in that the said channel 10 is prolonged radially outwards and downwards by a part forming a flange 11 intended to lodge in the said collar 3. <IMAGE>
