PURPOSE:To make it possible to answer to a telephone even when a room is dark by providing a illumination light which turns on in response to a call signal. CONSTITUTION:When a call signal detection circuit 16 detects the call signal, the output of the circuit 16 becomes '1'. Then, in response to that, a control circuit 13 closes a switch 14 and the illumination light 11 turns on. When the output of the circuit 16 becomes '0', the circuit 13 opens the switch 14 and the light 11 turns off.
