PURPOSE:To enable effective stratification of a mixture by opening a hole which is commonly used for a plug hole and an injection hole on the inner peripheral face of a rotor housing, and connecting an assist air passage to the part between a check valve in said plug hole and an injector. CONSTITUTION:Plug holes 8, 9 each for installing an ignition plug 10 which are opened on a leading side and a trailing side in a rotor rotating direction respectively are provided on the part facing an operating chamber 3 in the explosion stroke, of the trochoidal inner peripheral face of a rotor housing 1a. Also, an injector hole 11 for installing an injector 12 is opened in the trailing side plug hole 9. Further, a check valve 13 which prevents the flow of gas from the operating chamber 3 to the injector 12 while allowing the reverse flow provided on the plug hole 9. And, an assist air passage 15 is connected to a part between the check valve 13 and the injector 12 to ensure the stratification at the time of stratifying a mixture by means of an early stage injection. |
