The invention relates to a conducting annulus for producing electric rings mounted between the steering column and the steering wheel of a motor vehicle. The conducting annulus 4 comprises a first central crown 40 constituting a connection track and a second intermediate crown 41 circumscribed outside the first central circular crown 40 constituting a contact track. A third outer crown 42 circumscribed outside the second intermediate circular crown 41 constitutes a contact track. The first, second and third crowns are electrically and mechanically secured by diametric attachment points, the third outer crown 42 fulfilling the role of one of the consecutive annuli of the first series connected in parallel. An annulus 10 allowing the connection of the annulus 4 includes a first central crown 100 forming a contact track and a second intermediate crown 101 intended to come into operation facing the intermediate crown 41 and the outer crown 42 respectively. A third crown 102 of the annulus 10 fulfils the role of connection track.
