PURPOSE:To perform incorporation of an additive element easily and uniformly and to improve superconductive characteristics by introducing vapor contg. the additive element into powdery starting materials for an oxide superconductive material in vacuum or in inert gas atmosphere, etc. CONSTITUTION:Each powdery starting material for an oxide superconductive material is mixed, and heated in vacuum or in an inert gas or in a mixture of inert gases. The starting materials are heat-treated at the same time, and vapor of an additive element having low m.p. and high partial vapor pressure such as Pb, Sn, Zn, etc. or compd. of said elements such as chloride, fluoride, etc. is introduced into said powdery starting material. |
