PURPOSE:To stably fix an enclosure and to obtain a reliable dielectric filter by housing a cylindrical resonator in a square-shaped case so as to fix the case to the enclosure. CONSTITUTION:The enclosure 10 is obtained by formed with a metallic plate and plural dielectric resonators and a dielectric substrate 12 for obtaining a coupling capacity between the dielectric resonators housed in the case 11 are arranged in the enclosure 10. The case 11 housing the dielectric resonators is formed with the thin metallic plate in order that its shape is a square pillar whose one side is open and its inside diameter has a dimension adjusted to the outer diameter of a coaxial TEM resonator, and at the time of housing the resonator the resonator is made to be connected and held by pressing an external electric conductor with its elasticity. One surface of the case 11 is fixed to the base of the enclosure 10 by soldering. Thus, a stable fixed structure can be obtained and the reliable dielectric filter can be obtained.
