PURPOSE:To make both talking and facsimile communication by using a conventional telephone line, by connecting a facsimile connector equipped with a control circuit, facsimile power supply circuit, and relay for link switch between the telephone line of a key telephone system and a facsimile device. CONSTITUTION:When a line wire COL requests communication with a facsimile device, a key telephone set TEL1 sets the talking from the talking line T/R of the line wire COL to a temporarily held state by means of a main device KSU by depressing a key HK and successively calls a facsimile connector FC by depressing another key CKn. This calling signal is inputted to a control circuit CPU from the control line H/L of an extension line through the extension controlling signal transmitting/receiving circuit IF of the connector FC and a CPU actuates a facsimile device FAX by operating a facsimile actuating signal circuit FG. Power supply to the facsimile device FAX is made from a facsimile power supplying circuit FL through a loop detecting circuit L. The detecting circuit L sends a power supply detecting signal to the CPU and the CPU switches a contact (b) by operating a relay B for link switch so as to connect the facsimile device FAX to the talking line T/R. At the same time, the CPU sends a talking holding releasing signal to the main device KSU through the receiving circuit IF so as to connect the main wire COL with the facsimile device FAX.
