PURPOSE:To smoothen start-up operation of suction pumps of the title apparatus and to produce O2-enriched air in large amt. by connecting secondary sides of plural suction pumps in parallelly arranged O2-enriching lines to an air header and controlling by opening a drain discharging valve of the header for a fixed time at the same time with the start of the suction pumps. CONSTITUTION:Air is fed through an air intake port 10a, fan 12, and a filter 11 to a case 10 housing plural O2-enriching membrane cells 13 formed of an O2-enriching membrane which permeates O2 of an O2-enriching line 15 selectively, and plural suction pumps 14 connected to each cell 13 are started. At the same time, the pumps are risen-up smoothly while preventing interference of pumps with each other by opening a drain discharging valve of an air header 21 for a fixed time, and the flow rate of the air is controlled simultaneously through a throttle valve 16 and the air is fed to the above-described air header 21 serving also as a sub-drain tank. When rising of plural suction pumps 14 is finished, a valve 30 is closed automatically and the operation of the system is brought to a stationary state. O2-enriched air produced by passing sucked air through the O2-enriching membrane of the cell 13 is supplied to users 25 through an air header 21, a refrigerating dehumidifier 22, a flow meter 23, and a filter 24. |
