PURPOSE:To process a mold to be easily formed into a three-dimensional curved structure, by bending a long-sized mold into almost a doglegged shape to be formed into a two-dimensional curved structure and bending it in such a manner that one surface of the mold crosses at a predetermined angle with a plane including one side surface of said two-dimensional curved structure. CONSTITUTION:When a bumper mold for an automobile is obtained, first a long-sized plate-shaped mold 10, constituted of a soft quality vinyl chloride resin made mold main unit 1 formed by extrusion molding and a metallic film 2 mounted being glued on surfaces of this main unit 1, is prepared. Next the mold 10, while its both ends are pulled in a condition that the mold is heated to a predetermined temperature (about 100 deg.C), is pressed to a jig and folded flexing to almost a doglegged shape, thus forming a two-dimensional curved structure. Successively the mold 10, gluing a both-side adhesive tape to a reverse side 12 of said two-dimensional curved structure, is folded flexing positioning one side surfaces 13 in the same plane C, further a surface 11 of the mold 10 so as to cross at a predetermined angle with the plane C, thus completing the desired bumper mold. |
