PURPOSE:To obtain a copper alloy for a fuse having low electric conductivity and having excellent stability, strength and corrosion resistance at the time of fusion at low cost by specifying the compsn. consisting of Ni, Zn and Cu. CONSTITUTION:The titled alloy contains, by weight, 7-25% Ni, contains as a secondary component one or more kinds among 0.01-5% P, Sn, Si, Mg, Ti, Cr, Zr, Al, Fe, Pb, Mn and Co at need and consists of the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. Said alloy has the high strength and good heat resistance and the change of the conductivity is slight even at the time of heating.
