BRAIN PRESSURE AND INTRA-OCULAR TENSION DEPRESSING AGENT

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled depressing agent containing erythritol as an active ingredient and having strong brain pressure and intra-ocular tension depressing action. CONSTITUTION:Erythritol is contained as an active ingredient. The aimed depressing agent is used normally in form of injection or oral medicine. When the agent is used as the injection, the agent obtained by preparing the agent to about 10-40% (W/V) concentration using distillation water for injection and formulating the agent according to a conventional method is used and in case of the oral medicine, the medicine is used as a liquid agent or powder agent having high concentration and they are each administered in dose of 0.3-3g/1kg wt. of the body/day 1-3 times calculated in terms of erythritol.
