PURPOSE:To set up more efficiently data by normally setting and storing data by communication, and when the communication is invalidated, setting and storing data by means of a card. CONSTITUTION:The data setting (e.g. price setting) card is previously prepared, and when required, the card is inserted into a card reader/writer, data stored in the card are read out and set up in a memory. For instance, a card storing all price bands and a data setting card reader/writer are prepared and only price to be changed is recorded by the card reader/writer and used. Consequently, large volume of data can be easily set up within a short period. |
