PURPOSE:To measure radiation exposure very easily, by having a triarylsulfonium salt and an electron-donating and color forming organic compound contained to cause remarkable color changes according to radiation exposure. CONSTITUTION:A triarylsulfonium salt used in a composition is a compound as given by the formula I (wherein R1, R2 and R3 represent hydrogen, alkyl group, alkoxy group or halogen, provided that they may be different. X<-> represents ClO4<->, BF4<->, SbF6<->, AsF6<-> or the like) and is, for example, triphenylsulfonium perchlorate and triphenylsulfonium tetrafluoroborate. The electron donating organic compound herein used is normally colorless or light color and forms color with the action of active species such as Lewis acid and Broensted acid by nature. This facilitates the measurement of exposure by preparing a reference for exposure of a radiation and changes in color beforehand.
