PURPOSE:To detect the normal state with high accuracy by comparing only the difference depending on the phase/timing purely so as to reduce the mis- detection. CONSTITUTION:A real synchronizing information pulse 2 is outputted from a decoder 2 and fed to a real synchronizing information pulse counter circuit 6. Moreover, a searching synchronizing information pulse is fed to a searching synchronizing information pulse count circuit 5 from a decoder 4. A real synchronizing information pulse from circuits 1, 2 of a data decoding system and a searching synchronizing pulse from circuits 3, 4 of the normal phase timing search system are compared by a count comparison circuit 7 and the phase uncertainty and timing uncertainty are eliminated based on them.
