PURPOSE:To obtain satisfactory S/N improvement by using a cyclic noise canceller with respect to a plane part on a screen and using a non-cyclic noise canceller with respect to a part in which the screen changes in a vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted from a terminal 7 and a signal which is delayed in a 1H delay unit 9 are subtracted in a subtractor 8, and a component without line correlation is fetched into A. If the component without the line correlation is smaller than a reference value, namely, in the plane part on the screen, switches 11 and 17 come to a state that they are fixed to L, and a signal which has been restricted in a limitter 20 and which has been level- controlled in a multiplier 18 is added with an input signal in an adder 16. Thus, the cyclic noise canceller is constituted. If the component without the line correlation is bigger than the reference value, namely, in the part where the screen changes in the vertical direction, the switches are set to H, and the non-cyclic filter is constituted.
