PURPOSE:To switch an optical connector in a short time by arranging a 3rd optical connector in parallel so that its end surface is aligned with the end surface of a 2nd optical connector, then moving the 2nd and 3rd connectors at the same time or a 1st optical connector independently in the arrangement direction of the 2nd and 3rd optical connectors, and making the 1st and 3rd optical connectors abut on each other. CONSTITUTION:A pin 13' is pressed in the pin hole of the 1st optical connector 11A by a pin pressing mechanism 26 and the pin 13' is pressed inward as it is. Then when the contacts between front and rear pins 13 and 13' comes out of the 1st optical connector 11A, the 2nd and 3rd optical connectors 11B and 11C are pushed up by a movable base 22 and elevated until the 2nd optical connector 11B abuts on a stopper 25. The 3rd optical connector 11C comes to abut on the 1st optical connector 11A, so a pin 11' is further pressed in and inserted into the pin hole of the 3rd optical connector 11C to the end, so that the 1st and 3rd optical connectors 11A and 11B are connected to each other. |
