PURPOSE:To perform the switching of an optical connector through easy operation by forming a recessed part where the optical connector is set axially symmetrically in a connector receiving block. CONSTITUTION:This optical connector is equipped with a center shaft 11, a couple of connector receiving blocks 12 and 13 which are fitted so that at least one block is rotatable and slidable on the center shaft 11 while their end surface are made to face each other, springs 14 and 15 which are so provided as to press the connector receiving blocks against each other, and fixing members 16 and 17 which fix the optical connector to the connector receiving blocks; and recessed parts 18 and 19 where the optical connector is set are formed in the connector receiving blocks 12 and 13 axially symmetrically. When this switching jig is used, the optical connector in a connection state is set in the couple of connector receiving blocks, which are separated temporarily against the force of the springs, rotated relatively by a specific angle, and then pressed against each other with the force of the springs, thereby easily performing the switching of the optical connector. |
