PURPOSE:To well prevent the deformation of a disk even in the case of the disk being stored for long period in a player main body by supporting the outer periphery of a disk by a tray by moving the tray or a turn table at the time when the driving of the disk is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with the tray 12 capable of supporting the outer periphery of a disk D, the disk driving means driving the disk D in the state of fitting it to a turntable 13 and the control means 16 controlling so as to support the outer periphery of the disk D by said tray 12 by moving the tray 12 or turntable 13. In the case, therefore, of the tray 12 being pulled into a player main body 11, the disk D is supported by the tray 12 at its outer periphery excepting the disk D being reproduced. The deformation of the disk can thus be well prevented even in the case of the disk being stored for long period in the player main body.
