PURPOSE:To inhibit light which is reflected by a sample from illuminating the sample again and to take an accurate measurement by providing a diffusion plate, a specular surface barrel, an optical fiber, an optical trap, etc. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted by a light source 1 is guided by a converging mirror 2 to the diffusion plate 3 and the diffused light which is diffused uniformly through the diffusion plate 3 is reflected by the internal surface of the specular surface barrel 4 and guided to the sample S. Then part of the reflected light from the sample S is made incident on the photodetection surface of the optical fiber 5 and guided to a measuring instrument to obtain color data, etc. This optical fiber 5 is fitted so that the aperture angle on the photodetection end surface covers the entire range of the sample S. The remaining reflected light is guided to the optical trap 6 and absorbed effectively, so that the light is securely prevented from illuminating the sample S again. |
