<p>A swimming pool, basin for water massage, fountain or similar, has an overflow rim (2) of transparent material attached to the body of the swimming pool (1) or similar by a weld (3) and an overhang projecting from the said body. The rim (2) may be made of transparent material, e.g. glass, crystal or plastic, and may also serve as a simple boundary. In this way, the visual fusion of the water in the swimming pool or similar with the sky or other surroundings, e.g. sea or lake beneath or beside the pool, is achieved.</p> |
