PURPOSE:To enhance the effective utilization of a main storage device and to make a writing process from a buffer in a work area needless by directly accessing a file data area file-opened in the main storage device with an application program. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing the application programs 2 inputted in an information process system equipping an operating system 4, the buffer head address of the main storage device 8 is given to the application program 2 through the operating system 4 at the time of opening a file 6 by the application program 2 through the operating system 4. The application program 2 directly accesses the file data area of the buffer 8B by using the given head address and an offset for the file data area of the said buffer assigned to the main storage device 8 at the time of opening the file. Thus, the effective utilization of the main storage device can be enhanced.
