PURPOSE:To ensure the quality by facilitating the installation of a range by providing a space in which components wired to the range unit can be stored while they are wired to the range unit, and installing the range with the wired components stored in said space. CONSTITUTION:A cutout 18 is formed in part of the stove mounting plate 17 having an exhaust gas guide 8, a mounting frame 10 etc., and the space 19 under the cutout 18 is used as a space which stores components such as an ignition plug 11 and a sensor for pilot safety device which are wired to the range unit while they are wired to the range unit. The installation is performed such that parts such as a tripod 5, a spill-over shield 6, a stove top plate 7, the exhaust guide 8, a stove burner 9, the mounting frame 10, the ignition plug, etc., are first removed, and then, the components such as the ignition plug, etc., which are wired to the unit body are inserted to the space 19 from the front side of the cooking table. Then, the ignition plug 11 is pulled out for assembly. As the components such as the ignition plug, etc., are stored in the storage space, the assembly process is facilitated, and the sensor for the safety device is not damaged or deformed, ensuring the quality.
