PURPOSE:To prevent a plurality of belt-like plies having cords inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of a tire, from being separated from each other, so as to enhance the safety, by setting the angles of inclinations of the cords in a specific angle range, and by bi-secting a part of the plies. CONSTITUTION:In a tire 1, a plurality of belt-like plies 6, 7, 9, 13 having cords inclined with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire 1 are disposed between a tread section 2 and the crown section 4 of a carcass 3. in this arrangement the second and third plies 7, 9 respectively have cords which are inclined in respective directions reverse to each other at an angle of 20 to 30 deg. with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire. Further, the first belt-like ply 6 has cords arranged in the same direction as that of the cords of the second belt-like ply 7, and inclined at an angle of 40 to 75 deg. with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire. Meanwhile, the second and third belt-like plies 7, 9 is bisected widthwise along the equator C of the tire.
