APPARATUS FOR PREPARING BIOPOLYMER CRYSTAL

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus capable of controlling crystallization, by charging a biopolymer solution and insolubilized agent solution into a cylinder having terminal bellows and liquid reservoir and a hollow piston having an opening part held between O-ring and bringing the both solutions into contact with each other by transfer of the piston. CONSTITUTION:Either one of a biopolymer solution and insolubilized agent is housed in a cylinder 1 having an opening of liquid reservoir 11 at a side face and attaching bellows 4 and 5 at the both ends of the cylinder and sealing between end connecting to the driving rod of a hollow piston 2 and one end of the cylinder with a bellow 4 and sealing the other end of the cylinder with a bellow 5 attached at the other end of the cylinder and other solution is housed in the hollow piston 2 having an opening corresponding to a side face opening of the cylinder 1 at the side face and slidably inserted to the cylinder 1 by attaching O-ring 3 in the position holding the opening. These solution is directly brought into contact with each other by moving the hollow piston 2 while tightly cutting off these solution from the outside to crystallize the biopolymer.
