PURPOSE:To prevent discoloring and fading by light of coloring matter, dye, etc., used for organic coloring substances, particularly color photographic sensitive materials, by the presence of a light fading inhibitor consisting of an organic coloring substance and specific compound. CONSTITUTION:(A) An organic coloring substance (preferably methine, polymethine, indoamine or indophenol) having at least one absorption maximum at 300-800nm, preferably 400-700nm in a methanol solution is blended with (B) a compound expressed by formula I (R<1> and R<2> are substituent groups and alkyl, aryl, etc.; m is 0-6; n is 0-4; plural R<1> and R<2> may be same or different when m or n is >=2), preferably a compound expressed by formula II (R<3> and R<5> are H, alkyl, etc.; R<4> and R<6> are alkyl, alkenyl, etc.; p and r are 1 or 2; q and s are 0-3, etc.) in amount of 5-400mol.%, preferably 10-300mol.%.
