NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (M is Ni, Cu or Co; R<1> is H, halogen or CH3; X is H or CH3; R<2> and R<3> are lower alkyl; Z<-> is anion). USE:A dyestuff for optical recording medium, having high solubility in organic solvents, capable of being coated by application, having high reflectance, good contrast and excellent shelf stability. PREPARATION:A compound shown by formula II is oxidatively condensed with hydrochloride of a compound shown by formula III to give a compound shown by formula IV, which is reacted with a metallic salt shown by formula V to give a compound shown by formula I. |
