A cooling device mainly for gas planar laser comprises a laser head comprising two electrodes with vertical (or at an angle 45°) location of electrode plates and two mirrors of optical cavity with adjusting mechanisms. Matrixes of thermoelectric modules are fastened on the external surface of the laser head electrodes. The device is provided for at least two thermal sensors, whose output is connected to the thermoelectric module input through a monitoring and control unit and a power source.
