PURPOSE:To uniformize the operating condition, etc., of a constant current circuit among plural memory blocks and to share a controlling power source circuit, by arranging the constant current circuits provided on the memory blocks at one place concentrically, and connecting them to a power source line. CONSTITUTION:Four memory blocks 101-104 are arranged in parallel in a semiconductor memory device (ECL-RAM)100. A storage cell M connected to the intersection of the word line WH of a selection row and the bit lines D1 and D2 of a selection column in each of the blocks 101-104 is selected arbitrarily, and the selection storage cell M can be applied on the write or the readout of a storage data at a sense/write circuit 1. The constant current circuits 3 provided in each of the blocks 101-104 are arranged at one place A concentrically, and are connected to the power source line (l). Also, the control power source of the constant current circuit 3 is supplied from one controlling power source circuit 4 provided commonly among the plural memory blocks 101-104. Since the circuits 3 are collected to one place A and are connected to the power source line (l), the potential of the circuit 3 can be uniformized even when a resistor Rs is parasitized.
