PURPOSE:To prevent the picture quality of an image from deteriorating even if fast scanning is performed on a CRT which has an afterimage by mounting an absorption filter which absorbs light emitted by an afterimage fluorescent film on the front surface of the CRT at the time of the fast scanning. CONSTITUTION:The afterimage fluorescent film 3 is a fluorescent film which emits fluorescent light for a long time with light emitted by a no-afterimage fluorescent film 2. The afterimage absorbing filter 1 absorbs the light emitted by the afterimage fluorescent film 3. The light emitted by the afterimage fluorescent film 3 which is normally used is yellow, so a blue transmission filter is used as the afterimage absorbing film 1 and then an afterimage video signal of yellow can not be viewed and the influence of the afterimage signal is removed. |
