PURPOSE:To obtain a water purifier improved in sanitary conditions, by allowing water to contact with a first filter with increased opportunity for contact by feeding the water to the first filter from the external periphery of the filter, providing also a discharging device of residual water and a small drain hole for the residual water respectively to the inside of a case of a main body of the filter and to the inside of an internal case. CONSTITUTION:An internal case 25 is formed to the inside of a case 21 of a main body, and at the same time a first filter 28 is provided to the inside of the internal case 25 with a distance at its external periphery from the inside surface of the internal case 25. Moreover, a second filter 40 is provided to the inside of the first filter 28. Water is fed from the inside of the main body case 21 to the inside of the internal case 25, and is passed through the filter 28 in the case 25 from its external periphery, and is led out of the purifier after passing through the filter 40. Also, a residual water discharging device 58 is provided to the inside of the main body case 21, and at the same time a small hole 69 for draining the residual water is provided to the inside of the internal case 25. As a result, the opportunity for contacting water with the first filter is increased and sufficient purification of water has become possible, and fear for generating inferior sanitary conditions is eliminated as well.
