PURPOSE:To permit perfect and quick correction of unnecessary picture image area of toner or non-image area before executing etching with aq. alkali by using a correcting material constituted of a hydrophilic polymer, an amine having OH group, and an alcohol. CONSTITUTION:A correcting material is constituted of a hydrophilic polymer, an amine having OH group, and an alcohol. By incorporating a hydrophilic polymer into the correcting material, a characteristic permitting uniform correcting treatment is imparted to the correcting material. At the same time, characteristics for preventing blotting, blurring, or expansion of corrected part, etc. are imparted also to the correcting material. By incorporating an amine having OH group to the correcting material, a characteristic for dissolving a resin in a photosensitive layer in the stage of executing correction is afforded to the correcting material. Further, by incorporating an alcohol to the correcting material, correcting time is shortened, thus, correction of an electrophotographic printing plate is permitted quite perfectly. |
