ANTENNA FOR LOADING BEAM DISPLACEMENT HIGH EFFICIENCY/ HIGH GAIN DIELECTRIC OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To deflect the directivity with improved gain and radiation efficiency without deteriorating gain with small sized constitution by providing an induction medium near the surface of a reflecting plate toward the wave source and allowing a radio wave to be reflected multiply in each direction in the inside of medium. CONSTITUTION:A batch antenna 12 of an antenna 11 is used as a wave source, the reflecting plate 13 and a dielectric 14 whose area is definite are arranged, and an electromagnetic wave from the antenna 12 is reflected between the reflecting plate 13 and the dielectric 14 along two directions toward the direction A1 of the normal of the antenna 12. The radio wave is reflected multiply in directions along with directions A2, A3 on a plane orthogonal to the direction A1 in the medium. Then a displacement deltaE(deltaH) is set between the center of the antenna 12 and the axial line l1 of the dielectric 14 to radiate the electromagnetic wave in a direction B2 in crossing with the direction B1 of the normal of the reflecting plate 13 at an angle theta. Moreover, the reflection or diffraction at ends 15, 16 of the dielectric 14 by an electromagnetic wave between the reflecting plate 13 and the dielectric 14 is repeated to arrange the phase of the radiated electromagnetic wave and to improve the gain.
