PURPOSE:To prevent the rapid deterioration of exhaust gas characteristic at the time of weak combustion or in an oxygen deficient state by installing interconnecting ports interconnecting to a flow control zone at the wall of a specific control cylinder installed at the inside of an inner flame cylinder and also a flange part dividing the flow control zone into the upper and lower parts. CONSTITUTION:A flow control cylinder 21 is installed in the inside of an inner flame cylinder 6 and extended upwards from the part near a location facing the tip of a wick 1 and has its bottom in a flow control zone 22 formed between the cylinders 6 and 21. A large number of interconnecting ports 27 placed at the wall of a combustion control cylinder 24 are formed uniformly so as to interconnect an air chamber 26 to a combustion chamber 8 and a flange part 29 dividing the zone 22 into the lower flow control zone 30 and the upper flow control zone 31 is installed just above a breather 28. Unburnt gas filling the zones 30 and 31 is mixed with air streams c, d, e (not shown) indicated by white arrows and supplied again to the chamber 8 as indicated by black arrows i, j (not shown). At the time of strong combustion the unburnt gas is therefore supplied to the part near the upper part of the chamber 8 from the part near the upper part of the cylinder 6 in such a condition that the unburnt gas and air are sufficiently mixed and the gas is therefore burnt efficiently around a range A and the unburnt gas being not burnt sufficiently is burnt by a flame fr formed at the upper part.
