The filter comprises a filter cylinder 1 provided with a feed conduit 6 at one of its ends and a discharge opening 3 at its opposite end, which cylinder is arranged inside a recovery enclosure 4. A succession of rollers 24 and of helical scrapers 26, the leading face of which points towards the discharge opening, are mounted on a central shaft 8 in order to press against the inner face of the filter cylinder 1, means being provided for imparting a relative rotary motion to the rollers and to the scrapers in relation to the filter cylinder. The rollers and the scrapers, fitted in angularly offset pairs, are carried by radial arms 17, 18 fitted on the central shaft 8 with interposition of articulating arms 19, 20, the free end of which is connected by an elastic member 21, 22 to the base of the corresponding arm. <IMAGE>
