Invisible mounting method for diamonds - uses minute gap between edges prior to soldering

All diamonds in the mounting are cut to give identical peripheral measurements. Minute gaps between edges, enable invisible mounting when soldered. Mounting is e.g. of four square diamonds (1), which are cut to provide absolute identical peripheral measurements. Small facets (3) have a max. height of 0.3 mm. The gap width between facets is less than 0.1mm. Soft soldering method is used, whilst surplus solder is removed e.g. by boiling in acid.
