PURPOSE:To prevent any surging from occurring, by detecting whether a blower is in a surging area or not, and altering a speed of response controlling a speed of revolution of the blower by a speed controlling device. CONSTITUTION:A signal out of an air-speed sensor 22 of a main duct 16 is inputted into a surging preventive and motor control circuit 24. At this circuit 24, whether a blower 10 is in a surging area or not is judged on the basis of air capacity and the actual air capacity to enter this surging area at a speed of revolution of the blower in accordance with frequency of an inverter 14. And, if it is in the surging area, a speed of response at revolution of a motor 12 by this inverter 14 is controlled so as to be altered. Therefore, surging of the blower is effectively preventable with a simple structure.
