PURPOSE:To efficiently perform with high accuracy the warming of a high pressure steam regulation valve disposed on the downstream side from a stopping valve for a high pressure emergency by successively introducing high temperature and pressure steam on the upstream side from the stopping valve to the high pressure steam introducing portion of a turbine through a piping installation. CONSTITUTION:Upon warming a high pressure steam regulation valve 2 in a BFP (for driving a boiler feed pump) turbine, first of all, there are respectively opened a warming valve 10 and a drain valve 4 disposed on the lower portion of a chest 15. And next, high pressure steam is supplied from the inlet of a stopping valve 1 for a high pressure emergency to a steam introducing portion via a warming piping 9. Thereat, a metal temperature inside the chest 15 is detected by means of a temperature detector 13, and the detected result is inputted into an arithmetic unit 14. In addition, in the arithmetic unit 14, a predetermined operation is performed on the basis of a preset desired warming terminating temperature, a temperature increasing rate at the time of warming, and the metal temperature. Meanwhile, steam and drain after warming the high pressure steam regulation valve 2 are exhausted through the drain valve 4 disposed on the lower portion of the chest 15 and an orifice 11.
