Comparators (K1,K2) compare rotary speeds of the wheels on a respective axle (W1,W2) derived from a respective pick-up and output signals to logic AND and OR circuits (C,D). Similarly, further comparators (K3-K6) indicate, on the basis of acceleration-representative signals, which wheel or axle is exhibiting excessive acceleration or deceleration relative to the other wheels or axles. A digital signal processor determines whether vehicle acceleration or deceleration is to be expected, on the basis of signals. The signals are output by switching devices (S1,S2), by a transducer sensing the control parameter e.g. hydrostatic power transmission system pressure or traction system current, and by a vehicle travel direction detector. The processor determines whether wheel-slipping or skidding is to be expected and forms an electric expectation output signal. |
